Select Tax Year

1. Select your unit items
Calculate an Estimate of Your Bill: Select the county and tax district from the dropdown box at the top of the form in section 1. The district numbers match the district number you receive on your bill. Enter an assessed value for the property. Move to section 2 and enter any deductions before pressing the 'Estimate This Bill' button to calculate.
If you are unsure of your tax district number, you can get it from a past tax bill or click here to look up your prior tax bill data.
To find your assessed value, search for a property and locate the link titled ‘Details’. Find the value labeled "Assessed Value Total Land and Improvements". This value will be highlighted in yellow.
$
PLEASE NOTE: If the homestead deduction is selected, this tax bill estimator assumes that 100% of the entered assessed value is eligible for the homestead deduction and credits. Indiana law states that only the value of the primary residence, plus a maximum of one (1) acre of land, is eligible for the homestead deduction and applicable credits. Be advised that if your property contains more than this amount of land, your actual tax bill will likely be higher than what is estimated here.
2. Select your deductions
Calculate an Estimate of Your Bill: Select any deductions that may apply to the parcel by either clicking on the checkboxes, or entering an amount for 'Other Deductions'. Finally, click on the 'Estimate This Bill' button to calculate an estimated bill. The figures provided by this tool are estimates only and should not be taken as a statement of true tax liability.

Tax Credits:

Please note that if the county has local income tax property tax credits or if the taxpayer has an Over 65 credit, those credits will NOT be included in the tax calculator estimate and your actual tax bill may be less than what is estimated here. These figures are calculated by the County Auditor and certified before final tax bills are mailed.
